At the age of six, Michael Meyers murders his sister in cold blood. 20 years later, he escapes from the psychiatric ward and comes home, where Linda (Jamie Lee Curtis in her first feature film) attracts his attention.

Since I am more familiar with modern horror film, I found the make of Halloween very interesting. It is way more subtle and less explicit than I had expected. The film didn’t really scare me, but I enjoyed the thick atmosphere, the performances of the actors and the outstanding score.

TL;DR: Slow 70’s horror film with a great soundtrack.
