[FB] I am Sam (Jessie Nelson, 2001)

A mentally retarded man (Sean Penn) tries to prove, that he is able to take care of his 7-year-old daughter (Dakota Fanning).

A very touching film with great actors and a beautiful score. The story however has a very straight message (the daughter should stay with her father), which makes it pretty predictable.

I only cried three times.

TL;DR: Drama about a mentally retarded man and his daughter.
